“YOU CAN BE A HEART HERO“ – CPR AWARENESS AND TRAINING DRIVE
Platina Heart Hospital continues its impactful CPR awareness and training initiative, “You Can Be A Heart Hero”, with the goal of empowering individuals across schools, colleges, communities, and both government and private organizations with life-saving skills.
As part of the campaign, CPR training sessions were recently conducted at key institutions and workplaces, including government offices, private companies, and academic institutions.
Participants received hands-on training in essential life-saving techniques, with a strong focus on:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage
- Ambu bag ventilation
Under the supervision of expert cardiologists, attendees practiced CPR on mannequins to ensure proper technique and build the confidence required to act during real-life emergencies.
Dr. Pramod Mundra, Medical Director of Platina Heart Hospital, highlighted the life-saving impact of timely intervention:
“During a heart attack, immediate action can mean the difference between life and death. Unfortunately, many lack the necessary knowledge to perform CPR effectively. Our goal is to equip more people with the skills needed to respond in emergencies.”
Through this ongoing initiative, Platina Heart Hospital aims to build a more aware, responsive, and resilient community—prepared to act swiftly during cardiac emergencies.
